COVID-19 MODIFICATIONS

  • As a kindness to others, the City of Bexley thanks you for wearing a mask to community events, including the farmers market.

The Bexley Farmers Market is excited to open its 11th season on Thursday, May 20, 2021.

 

Due to of COVID-19, the Bexley Farmers Market is implementing operational changes to ensure the health and safety of its staff, vendors and the community at large. Operations will be updated according to current City of Bexley guidelines and Ohio Department of Health business requirements.

 

If you choose to visit the Bexley Farmers Market, we ask you to follow these preventive measures to keep yourself, your farmers and food producers, and your community safe:  

 

  • If you feel ill or at all unwell, do not attend the market.

  • Maintain the recommended 6’ social distancing from other shopping groups. 

  • As a kindness to others, the City of Bexley asks that you continue to wear a mask covering your mouth and nose to community events, including the farmers market.

  • Only touch products you intend to purchase.

The Bexley Farmers Market cares deeply about the community it serves, and wishes to continue doing so with added precautions, new procedures and proactive steps to protect market customers, vendors, and staff. 

 

During COVID-19, the Bexley Farmers Market will look a little different. As part of our quest to be a food source for our community, we have also implemented the following changes, including, but not limited to: 

  • Requiring space between vendor stands of at least 6 feet. 

  • Providing alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol for customers to use prior to entering market space and when exiting. 

 

The Bexley Farmers Market is open every Thursday from 4-7 PM.
